Button Men Stats

In April 1999, James Ernest and Cheapass Games released the first collection of ten Button Men, called “Soldiers.” It was a simple dice game with characters depicted on pin-back buttons. In the first two years, the Button Men universe swelled to nearly 200 characters, and Button Men won the Origins Awards for Best Abstract Board Game and Best Graphic Presentation of a Board Game of 1999.

This page is a (mostly) complete list of every Button Man known to exist, from the most obscure to the most popular. We’re in the process of updating this list, which is only current through 2002.
